Exciting News:

Message from Mother M. Mark Louis Randall, O.Carm., Prioress General, Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm:

Marian Manor, a nonprofit skilled nursing and rehabilitation center sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, is in need of a new, modern facility to continue to provide exceptional care to all its residents. It is in the early stages of repositioning its aging property at 130 Dorchester St. in South Boston. Please note: we do not anticipate any abrupt changes or anything that will disrupt the quality of life and quality of care at our facility. We have made no changes to our capacity and continue to accept new admissions. Because its buildings are in need of extensive, expensive upgrades, the organization hopes to partner with an experienced developer so that a modern, efficient nursing facility can be constructed on-site or at a nearby location in South Boston or Dorchester. Marian Manor is committed to continuing its mission of providing holistic health care in an atmosphere of Catholic understanding and faith. We will provide updates to you throughout the process of developing a new facility. Thank you.
